5.3.9. Nozzles

GENERAL INFORMATION

Faulty nozzles are the reason of strong knock of the engine and subsequently damages of bearings.

Signs of malfunction of nozzles:

  – interruptions of ignition;
  – knock in one or several cylinders;
  – the engine overheats;
  – falling of engine capacity, high consumption of fuel;
  – too dark exhaust smoke.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Turn on the engine on single turns and one after another release cap nuts of heats of injection. If at an otpuskaniye of any nut the knock disappears, so the faulty nozzle is found.

Nozzles can also be checked by means of the special device (in the conditions of a workshop).

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a casing of the engine and a reception pipe of the muffler over nozzles.
2. Remove the vacuum pipeline of the amplifier of a brake from the holder of a head of cylinders.
3. Remove an inlet collector.
4. Clean injection pipelines by method of cold cleaning.
5. Remove all pipelines (1) of injection, having released for this purpose cap nuts on nozzles and TNVD by means of a wrench, for example, of HAZET 4550.

Prevention

Do not change a form of a bend of pipelines. Put on suitable protective caps nozzles and TNVD to avoid dirt hit.

6. If the holding clips of pipelines of injection are removed, in advance mark their arrangement.
7. Carefully remove the returnable pipeline from nozzles.
8. Remove nozzles by means of a key of 27 mm, for example, of HAZET 4555-1.
9. From below protect nozzles from dirt protective caps.

Prevention

Pay at the same time attention to that nozzles did not fall. Besides, disconnect from nozzles of the 4th cylinder a connecting element of a cable for the built-in sensor of the moment of the beginning of injection. Establish all nozzles in former situation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Tighten nozzles with 65 N.' effort of m.
2. Fix injection pipelines with 25 N.' effort of m.
3. Put on the returnable pipeline.
4. Connect a cable together with the sensor of the moment of the beginning of injection on a nozzle of the 4th cylinder.
5. If are removed, establish the holding clips according to marking.
6. Install the vacuum pipeline for the amplifier of a brake on the holder of a head of cylinders.
7. Establish an inlet collector.
8. Start the engine, check a power supply system for tightness.
9. If the engine is not started, pump over a power supply system.
