GENERAL INFORMATION

On the cold engine spontaneous ignition temperature by compression is not reached therefore the engine needs to be warmed.

For this purpose in each combustion chamber about one glow plug is screwed in. The glow plug consists of the case with a vpressovanny heating core. As soon as tension moves, within several seconds the winding of a heating core heats up to +850 °C thanks to what warming up time before start-up will be reduced to 5 seconds. After the control lamp of system of preheat on a guard of devices will go out, it is possible to start the engine.

The preheat duration as well as automatic maintenance after start (approximately within 20 seconds), is regulated by the preheat relay the DDE monitor.
