9.2.3. Gear shifting mechanism

GENERAL INFORMATION

Check functioning of the lever of gear shifting. If necessary adjust the switching mechanism.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the lever in parking situation (P). Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Find the switching lever on the left side of the transmission and weaken a coupling bolt of the switching rod (it is specified by an arrow). Move the switching transmission lever completely back in situation (R) and tighten a coupling bolt.
3. Check operation of the lever of gear shifting.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Remove lock rings and disconnect the switching rod from the transmission and the switching lever (it is specified by an arrow). Remove a rod.

Installation

Grease with universal lubricant rotary pins of the switching rod and establish a rod, having fixed it by lock rings.
