5.1.17. Systems of decrease in toxicity of exhausts

GENERAL INFORMATION

On all models the system of collecting crankcase gases, the catalytic converter, system of recirculation of exhaust gases and system of collecting vapors of fuel is installed. On some models the system of additional air supply for decrease in toxicity of exhausts at warming up of the engine is installed.

SYSTEM OF COLLECTING CRANKCASE GASES

This system serves for collecting crankcase gases and vapors of oil from a case of the engine and the direction them to inlet highways of the engine for burning in the subsequent steps of operation of the engine.

SYSTEM OF DECREASE IN TOXICITY OF EXHAUSTS

For decrease in toxicity of exhausts on all models the catalytic converter is installed. Information from the oxygen sensor installed in a final collector or a reception pipe of the exhaust system is used for exact adjustment of composition of fuel mix.

SYSTEM OF COLLECTING VAPOURS OF FUEL

This system serves for collecting vapors of fuel from the fuel tank in the special coal filter. From where they then go to inlet channels of the engine for the subsequent burning in the course of normal operation of the engine.

SYSTEM OF RECIRCULATION OF EXHAUST GASES

This system serves for the direction of a part of exhaust gases to inlet highways of the engine to reduce contents WITH in exhaust gases. The valve of system of recirculation is controlled by an electronic control unit operation of the engine.

SYSTEM OF ADDITIONAL AIR SUPPLY

The electric fan forces air in a final collector under certain conditions of operation of the engine. It improves combustion of hydrocarbons and increases temperature of exhaust gases. As a result of it the catalytic converter gets warm up to the necessary temperature for neutralization of exhaust gases quicker.
