9.1.2. Gearbox oil

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before merging oil, warm up the engine. Oil will merge much quicker and there will be high probabilities that the garbage and a deposit will merge together with oil.

Oil discharge

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
2. Carefully clean a surface around a cap of a jellied opening. Unscrew a cap and remove a sealing washer.
3. Establish suitable capacity under a drain opening and unscrew a cap of a drain opening.
4. Completely merge oil. Clean caps of drain and jellied openings.

Filling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish new laying on caps and tighten them till the necessary moment of an inhaling. Lower the car on the earth.
2. Fill in gearbox oil of the necessary brand and check oil level.
3. Pass small distance and again check oil level.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install the car on a viewing hole.
2. If the engine just worked, muffle it and wait 5 minutes.
3. Carefully clean a surface around a cap of a jellied opening. Unscrew a cap.
4. Insert the wire bent at right angle into an opening. Level of oil has to be 9 mm below than edge of a jellied opening.
5. If necessary add oil.
