4.4. Thermostat

FOUR-CYLINDER MODELS

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid.
2. Disconnect a hose from a thermostat casing cover.
3. Unscrew bolts and uncover. Consider that the thermostat is built in a cover.
4. Carefully clean a thermostat casing. Also prepare a new sealing ring of a cover of the thermostat.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

SIX-CYLINDER MODELS

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid.
2. Disconnect a hose from a thermostat casing cover.
3. Unscrew the bolt fixing a tube of cooling liquid to a head of cylinders.
4. Pull a tube of cooling liquid.
5. Disconnect a tube of cooling liquid from a thermostat casing.
6. Remove the top half of an inlet collector.
7. Unscrew bolts and uncover. Consider that the thermostat is built in a cover.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a sealing ring.
2. Further installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.
