4.12. Elements of the air conditioning system

ADDITIONAL PUMP OF COOLING LIQUID

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid.
2. Remove the accumulator.
3. Remove the top cover of a radiator of the engine.
4. Disconnect a wire from the pump.
5. Disconnect clips and remove the pump.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

COMPRESSOR (FOUR-CYLINDER MODELS)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Remove the accumulator.
3. Take off an additional belt.
4. Disconnect coolant tubes from the compressor.
5. Disconnect wires from the compressor.
6. Unscrew three bolts in a forward part of the compressor.
7. Unscrew three bolts in a back part of the compressor and remove the compressor.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

COMPRESSOR (SIX-CYLINDER MODELS)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Remove the accumulator.
3. Take off an additional belt.
4. Disconnect a tube of low pressure. Disconnect a tube of high pressure from a damper of pulsations. Tubes remain connected to the compressor.
5. Disconnect wires from the compressor.
6. Unscrew three bolts in a forward part of the compressor.
7. Unscrew two bolts in a back part of the compressor.
8. Turn the compressor so that the bolt of a jellied opening was directed towards the oil pallet, and remove the compressor.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

BROAD VALVE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Remove a ware box.
4. Remove the motor of the delivery fan.
5. Disconnect coolant tubes from a dividing partition.
6. Disconnect valves from a casing of the evaporator and arrange them aside.
7. Unscrew six screws and uncover the evaporator.
8. Remove an arm, disconnect tubes of coolant and disconnect the broad valve from the evaporator.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

EVAPORATOR

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the broad valve and disconnect the evaporator from the air distribution block.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

REFRIGERATOR (FOUR-CYLINDER MODELS)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Remove a radiator.
4. Disconnect coolant tubes from the refrigerator.
5. Remove the refrigerator.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

REFRIGERATOR (SIX-CYLINDER MODELS)

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Remove a radiator.
4. Disconnect coolant tubes from the refrigerator.
5. Remove the refrigerator from a rubber casing and incline it back, towards the engine.
6. Disconnect coolant tubes from a broad tank of the conditioner.
7. Disconnect a tank arm from the refrigerator.
8. Remove the refrigerator together with a tank.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

BROAD TANK

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Remove a front grille.
4. Disconnect a jellied mouth from a tank of liquid of windscreen washers. In six-cylinder models remove the cross-piece located in a forward part of office of the engine.
5. Disconnect coolant hoses from a broad tank.
6. Unscrew an arm of a tank and remove a tank.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

THREE-POSITION SWITCH

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The switch is located under a broad tank in a forward left part of office of the engine.
2. Lower pressure in system of circulation of coolant.
3. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
4. Disconnect a switch wire from the multicontact socket.
5. Unscrew the switch.

Installation

Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

THERMOSWITCHES OF THE COOLING FAN

Main fan

The switch of the main fan is located in the lower part of a radiator.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid of the cooling system of the engine.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Disconnect a switch wire from the multicontact socket.
4. Unscrew the switch.
5. Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.

Additional fan

The switch of the additional fan is located in the left part of a radiator.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid of the cooling system of the engine.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Disconnect a switch wire from the multicontact socket.
4. Unscrew the switch.
5. Installation is carried out to the sequences, the return to removal.
