3.2.13. Oil pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge engine oil and remove an oil filter.
2. Take off a gas-distributing belt.
3. Remove a back cover of a gas-distributing belt.
4. Remove the oil pallet and a maslozaborny branch pipe.
5. Disconnect a wire from the oil pressure sensor switch.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove the oil pump.

Partition

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew screws and uncover the oil pump.
2. Mark the correct adjusting provision of gear gear wheels of the pump.
3. Get gear gear wheels (it is specified by an arrow).
4. Unscrew a cap (4) of the reducing valve and take a spring and the piston (1) (2 – a spring, 3 – a sealing washer).
5. Carefully clean all details of the oil pump and examine them on existence of wear tracks and damages. If gear wheels or a casing of the pump are damaged, then the pump needs to be replaced.
6. Measure a gap between teeth of gear wheels (the drawing at the left) and a gap between the plane of the pump and the plane of gear wheels (the drawing on the right). If necessary the pump needs to be replaced.
7. Collect the pump upside-down.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an old epiploon of a bent shaft and establish new.
2. Install new laying on the block of cylinders.
3. Install the pump, insert and tighten bolts.
4. Establish the remained details.
