3.1.7. Gas-distributing belt

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator and remove an external cover of a gas-distributing belt.
2. Install the N1 piston in VMT.
3. Weaken a bolt (1) of a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, turn the lever (2) natyazhitel clockwise against the stop and tighten a bolt.
4. Take off a gas-distributing belt and note its direction of rotation.
5. Carefully examine a belt on existence of wear and damages, if necessary replace it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean asterisks of cranked and distributive shaft. Check that synchronizing tags were combined.
2. Put on a belt asterisks.
3. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel and turn the lever of a natyazhitel counterclockwise against the stop. Tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
4. Check whether synchronizing tags are combined.
5. Turn a bent shaft on two whole revolutions.
6. Check tags and again weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel.
7. If you established a new gas-distributing belt, adjust a natyazhitel so that his index was directed to a cut or to a tag of "NEW" (see rice. An arrangement of the index of a natyazhitel concerning a cut in a back plate) also tighten a bolt.
8. If you established an old belt, the index of a natyazhitel has to be directed to 4 mm more to the left of a cut or has to indicate a tag of "USED" (see rice. An arrangement of the index of a natyazhitel concerning a cut in a back plate).
9. Establish the remained details.
